New travel experts in store to help clients

Premier Travel has welcomed new travel experts to their Huntingdon store after employing two people who lost their jobs in the collapse of Thomas Cook.

Kayleigh Nicholson and Lorraine Eaton will be joining the Premier Travel branch on the High Street from this week.

Both said they were looking forward to getting back to normality with Premier, just weeks after hearing the Thomas Cook news.

Kayleigh said: “We were totally shell-shocked and gutted when we heard the news about Thomas Cook. We were both already aware of Premier so applied for new roles and by the following day, we had both had an interview.

“It is really exciting to be back in the travel industry and we are looking forward to helping Premier customers book their holidays soon.”

Paul Waters, Director of Premier Travel, said: “The travel industry is extremely close knit so we were devastated to hear the news of Thomas Cook.

“Premier Travel wanted to help in any way we could so fast-tracked interviews for staff who had lost their jobs. We are really pleased to have been able to welcome lots of new faces to our branches so far and back into a job they love.”
