GLOW is Alzheimer’s Society’s brand-new sponsored night walk for the whole family to unite together and raise money to defeat dementia.

Whether you are walking to remember a loved one, or simply wish to spend time with family and friends, each walk is suitable for all ages and abilities, ranging in length from 4.5km to 6km. GLOW is about coming together and celebrating loved ones who are affected by dementia. Take in the atmosphere, grab your glowsticks and get ready to walk alongside hundreds of others as you shine a light on dementia.

Did you know dementia is now the UK’s biggest killer, yet research still trails far behind other health conditions? By taking part in GLOW you will help Alzheimer’s Society improve care, fund research and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

Every 3 minutes someone in the UK develops dementia, and there is currently no cure. Together, let’s walk towards a world without it.

Join us for an evening like no other at GLOW Cambridgeshire. Unite with us under the stars at Huntingdon Racecourse from 6.30pm on Saturday 21 March 2020.
