This is the third year for the event where wooden chalets create the quintessential Christmas village to wonder through with your family and friends or for a breath of fresh air on your lunch break.
The Market will feature festive food and drink including mulled wine, spiced cider and artisan hot chocolate to get you feeling Christmassy. Once again, Huntingdon Community Radio (HCR104fm) will be providing music and live entertainment.
There will be plenty of fun for all ages with appearances from your favourite princesses and even the Grinch! The Rotary Club will be providing a Santa’s grotto with free gifts for all the children.
Free face painting will be available on Friday 22nd November from 4.30pm – 7.00pm and Saturday 23rd November from 12noon – 4.00pm. Tesco Community Space will be providing an Elf Workshop full of free festive themed activities.
Avoid the stress of last-minute Christmas shopping and browse the variety of gift stalls from jewellery to decorations to thoughtful, hand-made gifts. Find something unique that will wow your loved ones on Christmas Day. Or just treat yourself to something just for you!
To launch the Christmas Market in style, the Christmas Lights Switch On takes place on Friday 22nd November at 6.30pm. The Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr Steve McAdam, will switch on the lights so don’t miss out. Get the dates in your calendar.
